Living in a city I don’t think I have ever heard a Nightingale and I wouldn’t recognise one of the thousand different sounds that these amazing birds can make anyway in all probability. Unfortunately research seems to show that climate change is having an effect on these birds. Numbers have declined by 90% over the last 50 years but not all due to climate change. It would be a great shame if we as humans only had recordings of the diverse “language” of this talkative species in the future. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-52111309
