The Lost Marble is a book about a marble that falls from the pocket of a boy who has many and then has to find its way home with the help of several characters. In this illustration some ants come across the marble and help to turn him the right way up. They are about to take him back to the nest as a present for their queen but it’s getting late so they decide to come back the next day. The marble has other plans than being a present for the ants and will leave before they come back.
It is the book that I wrote for the 5-7 year old reader although it could be read to younger readers as it is quite a simple story. I also produced it in two versions. Although this one has illustrations to colour in, the second one, The Lost Marble Colouring Book has less text, one line per page and more illustrations.
