The Lost Marble is a book about a marble that falls from the pocket of a boy who has many and then has to find its way home with the help of several characters.
It’s getting late and in this illustration a short sighted mouse called Henry bumps into the lost marble and offers him some advice on how to get home the next day. Hearing Henry literally crash into things after he leaves the marble doesn’t instill in him any confidence on how good that advice is.
It is the book that I wrote for the 5-7 year old reader although it could be read to younger readers as it is quite a simple story. I also produced it in two versions. Although this one has illustrations to colour in, the second one, The Lost Marble Colouring Book has less text, one line per page and more illustrations. This simpler version is meant for the 3-5 year old age group.
