A revisit to my A Moment of Our Time
I read about the Spanish flu pandemic that started towards the end of the first world war long before I started writing this piece of work. I always thought that we would be hit with another flu pandemic at some point but was quite naive about the level of human stupidity that allowed the current corona virus pandemic to jump species. It really is down to the stupidity of cultural beliefs and we must ensure that it never happens again. So far the numbers of deaths are still far below those of the early 20th century flu pandemic but will they stay that way and the virus is still out there circulating.

Think about all those television channels being broadcast at that moment
Think about all those films being shown and broadcast at that moment
Think about all those songs being broadcast at that moment
Think about all those computer games being played at that moment
Think about all those street entertainers performing at that moment
Think about all those auctions taking place at that moment
Think about all those libraries at that moment
Think about all those book shops at that moment
Think about all the art being sold at that moment
