In this illustration the council send the bee catcher to try and catch Bea or one of her colleagues but they are all too quick for him. He’s got no chance.
The story is about how one clever bee comes up with a plan to save Old Oak Meadow from some dubious property developers with the help of all the other creatures living in it.

There’s a T-shirt for children of Alice Wright’s wonderful book cover with or without the story title available from our Teemill site.
