This is the scene from the first Clever Dad story where the winds blow the pirate ship about so that the pirates can’t find their way back to the island of Polysneezia. Eric the elephant disguised as a dragon has scared them so much that they ran back to their pirate ship. Below is the extract of the text from the story.
In a puff of air Easterly and Northerly were off, and the others watched and then fell about laughing, as the winds blew the pirate ship offshore and then around in circles, so that the pirates all got very dizzy.
The story is available in printed form and also as an ebook from Amazon. There are illustrations throughout the text and the printed book has them repeated at the back so that younger children can colour them in.
I’m currently working on a third story in the Clever Dad series with Gerry Newton creating the illustrations.
