Clever Dad and the Space Rocket is a story about a father who builds his son a space rocket. Once inside Tristan meets the rocket’s computer, George, who takes Tristan on a journey to the moon. On the way they meet a cow who is on her way to jump over it. Later as the space rocket orbits the moon they see a large net capturing the cow. Who is stopping the cows jumping over the moon? Tristan and George will have to find out.
The story contains a number of black and white line drawings that can be coloured in with the printed version of the book. The illustrations are within the text and again repeated at the back of the book at full size. This illustration shows a scary robot that Tristan encounters while inside the secret moon base.
