We did this trip in the pre digital and pre smart phone days and were backpacking for a year with a budget of 5 photos a day each. We eventually bought more film but photography was more limiting in those days as was our budget. This night market I believe, at the time situated in a car park, sadly no longer exists due to building development, but I might be wrong. It was known at the time especially for its blue rice.
