The Lost Marble is a book about a marble that falls from the pocket of a boy who has many and then has to find its way home with the help of several characters.
The marble then finds a pedestrian crossing so that he can cross the road but he’s too small to be seen and a passing car sends him flying up into the air. This is not good for a fragile glass marble. If he breaks when he lands he won’t be of any use to children playing games of marbles.
It is the book that I wrote for the 5-7 year old reader although it could be read to younger readers as it is quite a simple story. I also produced it in two versions. Although this one has illustrations to colour in, the second one, The Lost Marble Colouring Book has less text, one line per page and more illustrations. This simpler version of the story is meant for the 3-5 year old age group.
